Incident Management App — mobile triage support for emergency services
About the project

A client working in emergency services came to us with a problem she knows from her own work as an active paramedic: critical information gets lost between paper, radio communication and memory. Mobile support for triage, team coordination and documentation could make interventions faster and more reliable.

We did not start with development. We first defined exactly what the app needed to achieve and created a Pitch Design: key screens that now serve as a tangible asset for funding discussions.

The brief

What the app must deliver

  • Extremely simple controls: during an emergency, seconds and stress matter more than a polished menu.
  • Support for triage, team coordination and documentation in the field.
  • The app must remain useful where network coverage fails.
  • No sensitive-system integrations in the first phase, enabling a faster start with less bureaucracy.
Process

From frontline insight to a funding-ready concept

01

Client workshops

The client is an active paramedic who knows the problem from real callouts rather than a slide deck. In a series of meetings, we mapped where information gets lost and what mobile support should solve.

02

Scope definition

Together, we defined what the app must do and what should stay out of the first phase. The result is a clear brief instead of a vague vision.

03

Pitch Design

We designed the key app screens and delivered a tangible presentation asset through our Pitch Design service.

04

Funding

The client is using the Pitch Design to seek project funding. The public-private sector moves at its own pace, and development will continue once the next phase is funded.

This is exactly how our Pitch Design works.

For a fraction of the development cost, you receive the key app screens as a tangible asset for conversations with investors, banks or public-sector partners. Code comes later, once the project is financially supported.
