Custom mobile app development for companies and startups
Grow-App designs, builds and publishes mobile apps for iOS and Android. Depending on the project we use Flutter (one codebase for both platforms) or native development, start with an MVP and take the app all the way to the App Store and Google Play.
You see prices before you contact us: indicative ranges are below and you can build an exact estimate in the budget planner.

What we can do for you
iOS and Android from one codebase
We build most business apps in Flutter — one codebase, two platforms, lower cost for development and every future change.
Native when it makes sense
If the project needs maximum performance or deep hardware integration, we go native (Swift / Kotlin). You get the recommendation before the contract, not after.
MVP first, extensions later
We start with a first working version with a clear goal and add features based on real user data, not a wishlist.
From design to the stores
UX/UI design in Figma, backend, testing on real devices, App Store and Google Play release and ongoing app care.
How much does mobile app development cost?
The ranges come straight from our budget planner — the same numbers you will see in the calculator.
- MVP app (Flutter, iOS + Android)4,000 – €9,000
- UX/UI design and clickable prototype1,200 – €1,599
- Backend and server infrastructure400 – €4,500
- App Store and Google Play release1,149 – €1,999
- App management and maintenance (App Care)299 – €1,490 / month
Price is driven mostly by feature scope, backend, integrations with company systems and the number of platforms. That is why we work with ranges and give an exact estimate once we have set the scope together.
How does mobile app development work?
This is how we work on every project — from a free consultation to app care after launch.
- 01
Free consultation and discovery
We look at the idea from a business angle, not a technology one: who will use the app, why and how it makes money. Only then do we propose the MVP scope.
Book a meeting - 02
UX/UI design and prototype
Key screens in Figma and a clickable prototype you can show your team or investors before the first line of code.
App UX/UI design - 03
Development in two-week cycles
Every two weeks you get a new test build straight to your phone. You tap, try and comment — no black box.
- 04
Testing on real devices
Manual tests on iOS and Android devices from different brands, and depending on the tier, automated tests and crash monitoring (Sentry, Crashlytics).
- 05
App Store and Google Play release
Certificates, accounts, screenshots, copy and the review process in both stores — handled by us.
App completion and launch - 06
Care and growth after launch
Updates for new iOS and Android versions, monitoring, fixes and further development in a monthly App Care plan.
App management and maintenance
Flutter, native app or PWA?
We recommend Flutter for most business and startup apps: one codebase runs on iOS and Android, which lowers the cost of development and of every future change. This is exactly how we are building the platform for local businesses we are preparing for launch.
We choose native development (Swift for iOS, Kotlin for Android) when the app needs maximum performance, deep hardware integration or platform-specific features. Our own product Baby-Care was built natively for both platforms and has been live in the stores since 2022.
A PWA (progressive web app) is the cheapest entry point when browser access is enough and you do not need store presence, full push notifications on iOS or hardware access. We recommend it only for a specific type of project — and we will tell you openly when that is not your case.
Real projects, not marketing promises
The numbers below come from our own case studies.
Baby-Care — our own product, in the stores since 2022
A mobile app for parents with content from 14 experts and a freemium model with in-app subscriptions. The product Grow-App was born from — it taught us what it takes to get an app into the stores and run it for years.
Platform for local businesses — Flutter, iOS and Android from one codebase
An app connecting local businesses with people nearby. Built in two-week cycles, with the client testing every build on their phone. Launch is planned for Q3 2026.
Frequently asked questions about app development
How much does mobile app development cost?
Indicative ranges are above on this page and in the budget planner. The final price depends on feature scope, backend and integrations — we prepare an exact estimate once we have set the MVP scope together.
How long does development take?
We work in two-week cycles. A simpler MVP can reach testing within months of design approval; apps with a custom backend and integrations take longer. You get a timeline together with the price estimate.
Who owns the source code?
You do. After payment we hand over the source code, repository access and the App Store and Google Play accounts. We do not lock clients in — which is exactly why we also take over apps from other vendors.
Do I need a backend?
If the app stores user data, signs users in or talks to your systems, yes. For an MVP a ready-made cloud service (Firebase / Supabase) is often enough; we recommend a custom backend when you have specific business logic or integrations with company systems.
Flutter or a native app?
Flutter for most business apps — one codebase, two platforms, lower cost. Native when performance or hardware demands are high. You get the recommendation in the free initial consultation.
Do you handle store publishing?
Yes — developer accounts, certificates, screenshots, copy and the full review process in the App Store and Google Play, including basic listing optimisation (ASO).
